Pepper's' PMC7027 Vinyl LP 1st Press Signed Peter Blake! This is a -1/-1 UK Mono 1st Pressing of Sgt. Pepper's and is in very clean condition. The vinyl is very clean with just some minor hairlines visible in good light. This plays very well with just some light noise audible and mild occasional distortion to the inner tracks mostly in'She's Leaving Home' but overall a very good sound! The sleeve is in great condition, there is minor wear to the edges and a tiny bit of corner dinging but overall this is very nice and very well cared for. This comes complete with a cut out sheet and the original psychedelic'fool' inner which has one split - this won't get any worse because a later poly-lined inner sleeve is also included to preserve the original.
This is a very good sounding great looking copy and is a genuine UK 1st pressing signed by the fantastic Peter Blake, the man who famously designed the Sgt. There are not many Peter Blake copies and they are very rarely 1st pressings, they can often be later. By the way the boat is not included in this sale! It is just another example of Peter Blake's work! This record has been professionally cleaned to maximise it's playback potential. Please see the following grading guidelines which I use to grade all media: Items will be described in the following order: Media/Cover i. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. CD's are similarly graded though the Jewel case is disregarded in grading. The grading applies to the media and the insert. Cassettes will simply be described in their playing condition and are all tested. All records are sent out in twin wall'Music Max' mailers with double stiffeners and will arrive safe and sound!
