This original Beatles 45 pressed on Swan records is VG+/EX showing some hairlines, with some paper wisps.

It's extremely rare to find these white labels with red print Swan 45s in this condition, as Beatlemania was ready to explode and these Swan records were absolutely played to death!! SIE LIEBT DICH (SHE LOVES YOU) B/W I'LL GET YOU.

SWAN 4182 RELEASED: 5/21/64, OSC (SWAN 4182.01B, SPIZER). This is the rarer version with bold writing and the song title all on one line. "Sie Liebt Dich (She Loves You)" (quotes included) Also has message: DON'T DROP OUT Original Swan record pressings of'Sie Liebt Dich' 7 inch 45 RPMs have: VIRTUE STUDIO (hand-etched) in the wax runoff (on both sides). If this is missing, or it appears on one side and not the other, it is not an original.

It has machine-stamped S-4182-S while the Virtue Studio is hand etched. This is a guaranteed original authentic Swan 1964 pressing with Virtue Studio etched on both sides of the 45 record! Side A published by Gil Music Corp. Side B published by Northern Music Ltd. Matrix / Runout (Runout A): S-4182-S VIRTUE STUDIO. Matrix / Runout (Runout B): S-4182-I VIRTUE STUDIO. Matrix / Runout (Label A): S-4182-S. Matrix / Runout (Label B): S-4182-I. ON MAY 21, 1964, SWAN RELEASED A SINGLE PAIRING'SIE LIEBT DICH' (SHE LOVES YOU) WITH THE SAME MASTER RECORDING OF I'LL GET YOU THAT SERVED AS THE B-SIDE TO SHE LOVES YOU. THE RECORD LISTS THE GROUP AS " DIE BEATLES " ON ITS'A' SIDE LABEL. All copies of these single white labels have "DON'T DROP OUT" with "VIRTUE STUDIO" hand etched markings in their trail off areas. This is the only one of the variations that have red print on white labels. NO GEORGE MARTIN CREDITS on either side! THE GERMAN-LYRIC RECORDING OF " SIE LIEBT DICH " WAS RECORDED BY THE BEATLES ON JANUARY 29, 1964 AND WAS ISSUED IN GERMANY ON THE ODEON LABEL IN MID MARCH 1964.

As the two US 1963 Vee Jay single releases'Please Please Me/Ask Me Why' (VJ 498) and'From Me To You/Thank You Girl' (VJ 522) did not climb high on the charts, George Martin landed a contact with Philadelphia based Swan Records to release the newest Beatles single,'She Loves You/I'll Get You'. A clause in the contract stipulated that if Swan Records were able to sell 50,000 copies of this particular record, they would then have right of first refusal on upcoming Beatles recordings. Unfortunately, this was not to be.

The initial release of the very first original issue was sporting red printing on a glossy white background. The single never made it to the magic number that would have kept the Beatles recording for Swan record label. When Capitol picked up the Beatles option with their release'I Want To Hold Your Hand/I Saw Her Standing There', and Beatlemania hit, in 1964, Swan then re-released the single, only this time on a black label with silver print, which was their re-issue label colors. Another release (or re-release) is the blue print on a glossy white background, which was actually released in 1965, and never in tandem with the red on white label May 21, 1964. On May 21st 1964, Swan released a single pairing "Sie Liebt Dich (She Loves You)" with the same master recording "I'll Get You" that served as the B side to "She Loves You". The record lists the group as "DIE BEATLES" on its A side label. All copies of the original single have white labels with "DON'T DROP OUT" and have "VIRTUE STUDIO" hand etched markings in the trail off areas, on BOTH sides. None have any production credits. It was packaged very will so thanks for that. It really is NM considering it's almost 60 years old. The record itself is almost new. It is now hanging in a custom frame on my wall in my Beatles/Music room. I have the record inside of the picture sleeve and put it in the mailer so it fits perfect in the frame.
