This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...

The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material. By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million!

The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever"!!! Catalogue Number: PCS 7607/8 1/1/1/1 Matrix endings.

Mothers/Stampers: 5/GHR 4/RDL 6/GGP 5/OO The Vinyl: 137g 143g NEAR MINT!! The vinyl is as shiny today as the day she was born-being ultra critical I can barely see a few incredibly faint, wispy, light marks to her.

I have just played her all the way through-after giving her a professional Vacuum clean and W-O-W.. Wonderfully clear highs and deep bassy lows... Even the fading on Helter Skelter was fantastically quiet on the break down! Even the run-ins and transitions between tracks were silent! FLAT A pure joy to listen to... I even noticed new arrangements I hadn't heard before when playing other White Albums over the 18 years in trading Beatles vinyl... SIMPLY EXCEPTIONAL INCREDIBLE FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN NOTHING AT ALL TO MAKE HER JUMP, SKIP OR STICK TURN HER UP-I DID ; The labels: NMINT You could frame these beauties!!

All four of the labels are extremely bright and clean with the DARKER apple. Only a few very light spindle marks-which are only visible when angled towards the light and actively looking for them! ZERO hole wear to each label.

The side 1 has a tracklist for five lines, the side 2 - five lines, the side 3 - four lines and the side 4 - three lines. Final credits for two lines on the sides 1, 3 and 4, three lines on the side 2.

All sides have ("An EMI Recording") on two lines and in brackets with inverted commas. To each of the labels. It is the correct 5th run: SIDE loading with a great shine to the laminate. Without the flipbacks showing on the inside-instead, they are folded within the pockets where the records are housed.

The spine remains strong and free from any lifting to the laminate... WITHOUT the printing of Stereo to the back top right.

All I can see are just two very small (2cm and very light) crescents of spidering to the either side of the laminate. With a knock to the bottom left corner-that really is all! S-U-P-E-R-B (Please see the detailed pictures for yourself-it really is rather nice).

Inners: NMINT Original WHITE inners... Allbeit with some age discoluration, as can be seen in the images provided.

They are both all original with the die-cut corners and "IMPORTANT NOTICE" printed statement to each. NO SPLITS TO ANY OF THE SEAMS VERY NICE INDEED THEY ARE ALL ORIGINAL-NOT REPRO! NEVER BEEN USED Poster: NEAR MINT- It is the ORIGINAL printing of this poster. Lyrics printed to the back and kiss to the front. Some slight foxing-nothing at all to worry about. When holding up to the light, I noticed two small pin-pricks of light through the central folds, but tht is all... ALL IN ALL A SUPERB NEAR MINT & COMPLETE COLLECTORS PIECE HERE...
