Capitol Records Beatles Platinum Collection "Collectors Edition". This is a very rare set. Not a lot of information exists on it. Supposedly it was given as a gift to specific Capitol employees. I have read a few blogs and websites that reference it. Most agree there were less the 100 of these produced.

It includes 16 full length albums on the remastered "Purple labels". These "Purple label" pressings have great fidelity and are very high quality remasters. They include re-issues of the original inserts. The Magical Mystery Tour reissue did not have a booklet.
