First pressing with black/gold labels and'Dick James' publishing credit on label. Correct first pressing sleeve with'Angus McBean' text to the right.
XEX 421-1N and XEX 422-1N matrices. Vinyl is clean and bright but with numerous light surface scuffs and a few small but feelable scratches. Labels are clean with no writing or damage but with moderate spindle wear.
Plays through loud, crisp and clear with no sticks or jumps. Some minor surface noise between tracks but nothing which detracts from the music. Outer Sleeve is in nice clean solid condition with only minor signs of use. No writing tears or other damage. Spine still solid and readable.Opening edge still reasonably sharp. Rear still clean with only a couple of minor age related marks.
Inner has no tears or splits and with only light wear to opening edge. Overall a nice playable copy of this extremely rare first pressing. Will be supplied with a new polylined inner.Any questions or if you require more photos please ask. I use correct record mailers and stiffeners to ensure the record arrives free of damage. I will post world wide. Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
