The Beatles Revolver 1966 Uk 1st Press Vinyl Lp Dr Robert Withdrawn MIX

Format:Vinyl LP, Album, Mono, Withdrawn Mix. Style:Beat, Pop, Rock Matrix Side 1: YEX 605-2 O 2 Matrix Side 2: YEX 606-1 MH 2. All records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as required when play tested.

This record is in very good+ condition. It does have quite a lot of spindle marks visible on each label and there is also some wear/damage around the centre holes. These are not loose or excessively worn however and there are no major scuffs, pen marks or stains. Overall the iconic yellow and black Parlophone labels are all fully legible but do have clear signs of use with spindle marks and wear as mentioned. As for the vinyl itself, both sides still have a nice lustre and are not covered in light lines or marks but do show signs of use and age.

There is light surface lines dotted around and also a few other minor scratches. These are all light and cannot be felt apart from one which is near the outer edge of side 1 and in track 1. This can be felt and although not deep or very heavy must be mentioned. Other than this there is light lines to each side but nothing nasty and not an excessive amount.

Overall it is a used vintage lp of over 50 years old that has no really serious marks and still has a nice lustre. It does however have light lines and minor scratches in places. I play tested the record and it played with no really major or seriously disruptive issues but also with audio that was not 100% perfect. Also it lays flat on the deck but upon playing there is a very slight raise in the record arm on each side.

This is only minor and has no affect to the audio or playback. The audio has no skips, sticks or loud disruptive tics and is a solid grade of VG+ on each side. Side 2 plays better than side 1 with no noticeable issues at all other than light surface noise in some places and between tracks.

Side 1 plays in a similar fashion but does have some very light tics audible in track 1 caused by the scratch mentioned(and pictured) above. These are not loud tics caused by a heavy mark but are light ones. They sound in the run in and for around the first 30 seconds of track 1(although they are masked by the audio to some degree). Other than these there is also a few light tics near the end of track 2 on side 1.

These last for around 10 seconds before the end of the track, with also 2 or 3 between tracks 2 and 3. Other than these two periods of light tics or interference the album plays with occasional minor surface noise in places and between tracks.

There is no major distortion or serious problems and overall both sides are around VG+ audibly. The tics can be heard but are not hugely disruptive. It is an enjoyable listen throughout but not a pristine crystal clear one. The front laminated sleevewhich is'Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co LTD' is in excellent condition.

It has just light wear and rubbing to the spine and corners with the writing on the spine still legible. There are no splits anywhere and the sleeve is still very strong all round. There is also no scuffs, tears or pen marks and overall the sleeve is excellent. It does have some minor creasing to the laminate front however and also ring marks evident.

The rear has again got a mild ring mark and a few creases. There is also an area where the top flipback is coming little loose or shows some wear.

Overall the sleeve is bright and strong with no major issues. It does also have a small'bend' to it however.

This is pretty minor and not overly noticeable but needs to be mentioned. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition. It contains its original'Use Emitex' inner in very good+ condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks but does have some creasing, ring marks and some age related discolouring. The record will be sent in a brand new plain white replacement to ensure it remains clean and fresh. The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me. All offers are considered and are more than welcome.
