Very rare UK 1st mono pressing copy from 1966 with the earliest -2/-1 matrix. This pressing includes the original incorrect mix of'Tomorrow Never Knows' ('Remix 11') which was included in error and quickly replaced by the correct mix for later pressings. Only initial copies of the record have this rare mix. Also includes 1st pressing'Dr Robert' spelling on both label & sleeve (later changed to'Doctor Robert').
Matrix nos: XEX 605-2 / XEX 606-1. Mothers/stampers: 1 GD / 1 RG. Please see my other shop items for more Beatles vinyl! GOOD (the labels are bright & clean with no writing or labels and show a normal amount of spindlewear, with no sign of excessive play; the side 1 surface has some ghosting rash from storage but otherwise just has a few light sleeve removal marks; side 2 has light surface marks and some noticeable scratches; I played the album in full and can confirm it plays solidly throughout and is an enjoyable listen; side 1 plays well with VG audio; side 2 grades GOOD with some clicks/pops in a few songs but no jumps or sticks and the rare mix of'Tomorrow Never Knows' plays great with EX audio). / VG (1st press laminated flipback sleeve in nice solid shape with just some light storage wear and a bit of faint writing on the back - no major defects, no splits or tears - see photos). With original Emitex inner sleeve. I USE THE UK RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM. I'M VERY CAREFUL WITH MY GRADING BUT I DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO PLAY-GRADE EVERY SINGLE ITEM, SO MOST GRADES YOU WILL SEE ARE VISUAL ONLY. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY SHOP.
