The Beatles'Rubber Soul' Rare'CBS' MT Tax UK 2nd Press Vinyl LP VG+/EX Nice

This is a nice copy of a UK 2nd pressing of'Rubber Soul. Of particular note is that this copy is one of the very rare pressings done on the earlier EMI machines that had been mothballed since 1963, they were dusted off probably due to demand of this pressing at the time. This is a rare animal!

These records have been spoken about for some time and were presumed to be CBS pressings however it has now been clarified how these records came to be in existence. This is a particularly nice copy. The vinyl surface is very clean indeed with just a few minor marks and hairlines and a very good clear, dynamic sound with just light occasional noise most noticeable between tracks though some crackle is noticeable on side B - most evident in'In My Life', however this is a great listen overall and still of collectable quality. Overall VG+/EX, a great copy of a very rare record! This record has been professionally cleaned to maximise it's playback potential.

Please see the following grading guidelines which I use to grade all media: Items will be described in the following order: Media/Cover i. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. CD's are similarly graded though the Jewel case is disregarded in grading. The grading applies to the media and the insert. Cassettes will simply be described in their playing condition and are all tested.
