THE BEATLES Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 1967 UK 1 st Press Misprint

This is very rare UK first Stereo press. Abel side A shows misprint. Black and yellow Parlophone label with The Gramophone Co. Laminated gatefold envelope with flap facing up on the inside. Contains a single sided card insert (full color cut out images) but red halftone "psychedelic" insert is lost.

This pressing is a variation that doesn't have space between "THE BEATLES" and MADE IN Gt. BRITAIN' at the bottom of the label on both sides.

Vinyl condition is VG+ (close to EX). There are a few scuffs and "hairs" after all, the vinyl is 57 years old!! That do not affect the sound at all.

And a very short crackling sound at the beginning of both sides, which stops when the track starts and doesn't appear again.. It's amazing how well this rarity has been preserved. You can see everything in more detail in the photos. It has never been in a smoky room.

A great gift for fans of the great band and, of course, collectors.
