Reissue of the original LP from 1968. On side 4, the song "Savoy Truffle" goes straight into the song "Cry Baby Cry" with no pause. Matrix / Runout (Side 1): 04173-A1 +//D. Matrix / Runout (Side 2): 04173-B1 +//D.

Matrix / Runout (Side 3): 04174-A1 +//D. Matrix / Runout (Side 4): 04174-B1 +//D. This listing is for a very rare and sought after high quality German remastered pressing of one of the greatest albums ever made. Not only is it stunning to look at with ice white coloured vinyl and contrasting Apple labels but it is also widely regarded as one of if not the best sounding pressing of The White Album. This was produced in the heyday of vinyl where the warm analog sound was complimented by rapid developments in technology and the art form came first not profits. This is what a true remaster is all about not just a cheap marketing label we see nowadays. This copy is number 104638 and is in beautiful condition featuring all of the above details from the listing page.

I will only accept offers close to the asking price and if they don't sell in the first month I will gladly put them back in my collection permanently. I don't listen to them very often and the funds could be put to better use so I'm told...

This is a lovely example which would make a great collectors piece and investment as they only very rarely come on the market. All of my records are play tested on a Project Debut Carbon with 2M Red stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players. Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare. I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point. Although very difficult to visually grade white vinyl you can see under a bright light that these records are in great condition.

There is a single light scratch on side 1 and a couple on side 2 neither of which affect play. Sides 3 and 4 are flawless as far as I can see. The labels are in beautiful condition, nice and bright apple logos and no pen marks. There are a few spindle marks visible on the open apple sides, nothing visible on the green apple sides. No stress tears or other marks.

Barely any surface noise on run in or between tracks, maybe just a few specs of dust but unfortunately I don't have a cleaning machine and I only hand clean very dirty records. Sound quality is mind blowing, perfect lows mids and highs all the way through. I also have a black vinyl DMM and it is just as good if not better. One of my favourites is Yer Blues with lovely smooth bass you just want to keep cranking up the volume, amazing. I really don't want to sell this record!

A very strong VG+ especially on the notoriously difficult sleeve to keep clean, for obvious reasons. Shelf wear is only minimal with just light scuffing on the corners and gatefold top join.

Spines and edges are in great condition. There is only light ring wear visible under bright light. There is a bit of dirt which I inherited particularly on the top right corner from glue residue from the price sticker. The original hype sticker is a nice touch. Records are stored in paper sleeves and apart from a few creases are in good condition.

The 4 photographs and poster are all present and in perfect condition. All questions answered and offers considered. Thanks for looking and please follow me and check out my other listings as they appear.
